Wild Spring onions are available in early spring. They are much larger than cultivated chives or green onions with a more intense flavour. Wild spring onions have large thick white bulbs with box shaped hollow stalks. These wild onions can be used in the same way you use any onions, green onions and chives. The white flowers on the end of the onion stalks are edible and make a great garnish.
