Shiitake Mushrooms are some of the most widely used mushrooms in the world. Shiitake are prized in Asian cuisine and their flavor lends well to soups, stocks and stir fry's. Shiitake are very popular in vegetarian and vegan dishes because of their thick meaty texture that hold's up well when cooked.
We offer 3 different sizes of Shiitake Mushrooms:
Button: Cap size: 1" to 1.5" Pieces: 85 to 95 pcs/lb
Medium: Cap size: 2" to 2.5" Pieces: 22 to 26 pcs/lb
Large: Cap size: 3" to 4" Pieces 12-14 pcs/lb
